‘Interlock’, from Israeli designer Itay Ohaly, is a simple table formed from thermoplastic arcrylic and wooden rods.
“The project examines the possibilities and potential embodied in connection between mold and raw material, using thermoplastic board processing. The final, one off connection, derives out of the manipulation between the two materials. One changing the shape of the other, while the other grips and interlocks with the first.”
