Launched in 1988, the Olympus O-Product was an aluminium bodied, 35mm compact camera, featuring a detachable strobe unit and a bold geometric design based on circles and a square, making it reminiscent of hardware from the 1920s and ’30s. It was sold as a pre-ordered limited edition of 10,000 units in Japan and 10,000 overseas.
