The simple Uncovered Lamp from Darren Lee, celebrates the beauty of the mundane.

Placing emphasis on the aesthetics of the components themselves, which are typically hidden and mystified, Lee manages to successfully bring the design of a lamp back to its bare minimum.
That’s assuming, of course, it complies with electrical safety regulations! ;)

The Haptica watch, by recent industrial design graduate David Chavez, is a concept piece designed to bring precision and discretion to the visually impaired when reading the time.
The case which houses the watch movement connects to a series of Braille ‘dials’ that synchronize to display the time read out.
Unlike other digital watches available on the market for the same purpose, ‘Haptica’s’ simple and ergonomic design is the first solution that doesn’t employ audio as the way of relaying information.
