Now I am not one prone to envy, but I am turning a tinge of green knowing that someone else, not me, possesses this  signed letter from Walter Gropius, on official Bauhaus stationary designed by Herbert Bayer.

Appearing in the footer of the letterhead are the words “wir schreiben alles klien, denn wir sparen damit zeit” which translated means “we write everything small, thus saving time.”
