Eric Hu: Archigram poster

Eric Hu: Archigram poster

A 17 ft poster by Eric Hu celebrating the works of 1960’s avant-garde architecture group, Archigram. The poster features a customized typeface, stacked vertically and then collaged and intermixed with pieces and artifacts of Archigram’s drawings.

Metaphorically, this creates an entirely new megastructure and through the scale of the poster, the work reflects the rigor and passion of Archigram. The poster is then also designed so that it can be folded like an accordion and used as a book.

Epaulette picture frame

Epaulette picture frame

Named after the French word for “shoulder piece”, Epaulette, by Ida Noemi, is a frame system with a greater flexibility than traditional frames, focusing on the corners.

The sides of the frame are held together by L-shaped corner profiles in copper, liberating the frame from any screws and fixed formats. The copper profiles are slid on to the corners as épaulettes and enhance the expression of the frame in a subtle, but characteristic way.
