Haynes Apollo 11 Owners Workshop Manual

Haynes Apollo 11 Owners Workshop Manual

This really isn’t a joke. Better known as a common source for repair manuals for cars, trucks, and motorcycles, Haynes have produced the Apollo 11 Owners Workshop Manual, the only backyard repair manual for the LM-5 Eagle Lunar Module.

This manual looks at the evolution and design of the mighty Saturn V rocket, the Command and Service Modules, and the Lunar Module. It describes the space suits worn by the crew and their special life support and communications systems and features launch procedures to ‘flying’ the Saturn V and the ‘LEM’, and from moon walking to the earth re-entry procedure.

The Haynes Apollo 11 Owners Workshop Manual is the one perfect, all-inclusive reference book on the Apollo Project that everyone, even if only casually interested in our past moon landing effort, should have. Besides being far worth more than its meager price just as a publication, it’s very complete, very concise, and has little to no accuracy problems. The authors simply did a boffo job. As a spaceflight historian and participant as an engineer- this book quickly went to the top of my reference sources. Love it!
