Objectified<\/a> is the new film in production from creator of the acclaimed documentary Helvetica<\/a>, Gary Hustwit.<\/p>\n

“Objectified is a documentary about industrial design; it\u2019s about the manufactured objects we surround ourselves with, and the people who make them. On an average day, each of us uses hundreds of objects… Who makes all these things, and why do they look and feel the way they do? All of these objects are \u201cdesigned,\u201d but how can good design make them, and our lives, better?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Featuring dialogue with notable industrial designers, including Dieter Rams, Jonathan Ive and Marc Newson, the film will premiere in early 2009.
