The \u2018Mareographe\u2019 was Heuer\u2019s version of the \u2018Seafarer\u2019 that was made specifically for Abercrombie & Fitch \u2013 the firm\u2019s US retail partner. As specified by the name – ‘mar\u00e9e’ being ‘tide’ in French – the Mareograph was designed for the sailing community and was the first chronograph to have tide level indication for regattas.<\/p>\n
