The Haptica watch, by recent industrial design graduate David Chavez<\/a>, is a concept piece designed to bring precision and discretion to the visually impaired when reading the time.<\/p>\n

The case which houses the watch movement connects to a series of Braille ‘dials’ that synchronize to display the time read out.<\/p>\n

Unlike other digital watches available on the market for the same purpose, ‘Haptica’s’ simple and ergonomic design is the first solution that doesn’t employ audio as the way of relaying information.<\/p>\n
