Onze peintres vus par Arp, published by Hans Girsberger in 1949, is a beautiful book authored by the artist Jean Arp (1887-1966), in which he writes poetic texts about eleven artists.
Designed by Richard Paul Lohse (1902-1988), the book’s cover features artwork, according to the publishers memoirs, not by Arp but actually by his friend, Swiss abstract painter, Leo Leuppi (1893-1972), visable through a printed glassine paper wrapper.
