This military style heavy boot, from Rick Owens, represents to me what a big, bad ass boot should look like. Made of black on black waxed suede, on a thick ridged vulcanized rubber sole, stitching and laces, I love it’s matt black, raw and understated looks. But £769.00 for a pair of boots…? Sheeeesh..!
Fortunately I still have my matt black, waterproof nubuck Timberland boots which I bought around 15 years ago for £120, look much the same (in fact even better now that they are all worn in and gnarly) and are still going strong today.
