Amphidromous Rectangle by Jun Murata, is a flexible living and working space consisting of a semi-open kitchen that connects with a living/dining area, a traditional tatami room and a hallway, a guest space and a central room with a walk-in closet.
The northern wall is materialized with reflective foil, working as a screen which creates variable light atmospheres. Privacy is achieved with sliding doors with slits cut in to allow natural light to illuminate all corners of the home during the day.
