Formed in London in the 1960s, Archigram was an avant-garde architectural group that was futurist, anti-heroic and pro-consumerist, drawing inspiration from technology in order to create a new reality that was solely expressed through hypothetical projects and went on to become a recognised influence on many of the world’s greatest contemporary architects and buildings.
The Archigram Archival Project makes the group’s work between 1961-1974 available online for public viewing and academic study and contains some extraordinary material that’s well worth browsing through.
