Loving this – a 28-inch plywood cube, with multiple drawers on all sides. Made by Takeshi Miyakawa who was born in Tokyo but now lives and works in New York.
It could be used as storage but Miyakawa has priced it as sculpture, at $20,000. “It was such a pain in the neck to make,” he said. “I don’t want to really make too many of them.”
I guess we won’t be seeing this in IKEA then.
