The TO watch, first designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for Issey Miyake around three years ago, has been further refined to combine its modern, sculptural aesthetic with a mechanical, automatic movement crafted using traditional watchmaking skills.
I love the economy of detail in this watch – pared back to the absolute minimum necessary to effectively display the time, it looks like it’s been carved from a single piece of metal, capturing the beauty of the material.

Amazing. I looked this watch up to see if it’s within my financial range. It’s on the Amazon US site for over $1000. I’ll keep on dreaming.
Funny thing is, someone who bought the watch left a 1* review saying they sent it back because the face doesn’t light up in the dark…
